Daily DeviationCry of the beast by *evui is really awesome in the power being portrayed here. Somehow I think the sailors trying to snare this beast would be better off letting this one get away. (Suggested by `GH-MoNGo and Featured by `Aeires)

Two years? Whoa.
The whole picture is splendidly and morbidly fantastic.
I couldn't say more.
The detail astounds me.
I think, since this is a Digital image, that you could have done better with the water.
But its a madmadmad picture altogether.

Yes that is true, I should have done more with the water. I shall go back and touch it up because it's just so hard!!! I've never done water, but I will look for tutorials! Thank you for your comment!

Wow, this is absolutely goregeous! :jawdrop: Wow, that's about all I can say. The coloring is wonderful, and the beast itself is fantastic! Great work! :faint:  :+fav:

The sun came up upon the left,
Out of the sea came he!
And he shone bright, and on the right
Went down into the sea.

Ooh, I like this pic. You've done a good job with capturing the mood of the picture (I assume this beast is being roped in by some very intrepid seafarers?).
The details on the sea serpent are nice, and in my opinion, aren't overdone. I also like how you've drawn the eye to the serpent by keeping the crashing waves relatively low in detail.
Overall, I think this is a great pic, and was well worth the time it took you to complete it. :+fav:

Thanks so much, and yeah, the seafarers aren't there right now, but is battle scars are a result of getting roped and hooked by traps and insensitive people and so forth. There orignally was going to be a fisherman trying to catch him in the corner, but I decided against it.

Wow, there are like, mad amounts of detail in this o_O;; I really admire you for sticking with it for two years. It's really awesome, too, the pose and the water splashes and everything ^^ Fav from me!
